Eleven services, written down plainly.
Douglas Mechanical has worked out of 18820 Carrot Street in Spring since 1975. This is the whole sheet: homes first, then commercial buildings, then standby generators. Every visit starts with a free in-home estimate, priced by people who are not on commission.
- The estimate
- Free, in your home, with a Price Match Guarantee
- The trucks
- Technicians in the field 8am-8pm, seven days a week
- The dealer
- Trane Comfort Specialist, authorized Honeywell generator dealer
Residential, the call people make first
AC Repair
Warm air at the registers, a new noise at the condenser, rooms that will not hold temperature. Same day service is guaranteed for emergency repairs, and technicians are out until 8pm every day.
The same shop also repairs, installs and maintains evaporators and fan coils, and repairs, installs and calibrates thermostats and HVAC controls, smart thermostats included. Technicians are trained to diagnose first and offer only the services you actually need.
Heating Repair
Heat pump and furnace repair, including emergency calls. Gas leaks, scorched wiring and carbon monoxide are why a heating problem is never left for later.
The rest of the residential sheet
Installs, air, plans and pipe.
Five more lines a home can need, from a new heat pump to the condensate drain that keeps dripping into the wrong place. The seasonal tuneup sits under Maintenance Agreements.
- AC Installation
- Trane systems sized to the house. Douglas Mechanical publishes that a properly installed AC system can reduce energy consumption by up to 30%, and new installations carry the 10-year parts and labor warranty on qualifying equipment and a one-year installation guarantee.
- Heating Installation
- Trane heat pumps, one system for heating and cooling through the year. A heat pump can reduce heating costs by up to 50% compared to conventional systems, and heat pump repair and maintenance are on the same sheet.
- Indoor Air Quality
- A whole-home air purifier for dust, pollen, mold spores and pet dander, plus air duct repair, new duct installation, attic insulation and air quality testing.
- Maintenance Agreements
- Silver, Gold and Platinum memberships. Each includes a biannual seasonal tuneup, priority scheduling, service reminders, maintenance documentation and discounted pricing on parts and labor.
- HVAC Re-Piping
- Copper refrigerant line replacement and condensate drain line repairs, for lines worn out by corrosion or leaks, or built for a refrigerant that is being phased out.
Commercial
Work that happens above the ceiling and on the roof.
HVAC systems account for nearly 40% of a commercial building’s energy usage. Douglas Mechanical installs Trane equipment, answers emergency repair calls to keep downtime short, and runs semi-annual preventative maintenance with routine inspections, deep cleanings and tuneups.
Commercial HVAC
Trane installations, emergency commercial repair and semi-annual preventative maintenance. HVAC accounts for nearly 40% of a commercial building's energy usage.
Rooftop Units
Packaged rooftop units on commercial buildings across Houston: Trane installs, emergency repair when a unit drops out, and semi-annual preventative maintenance.
Backup power
Generator Installation, installation only.
Douglas Mechanical is an authorized Honeywell dealer and installs Honeywell standby generators. It does not do generator repairs or generator maintenance, so for those the answer is no.
